Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Membership Service Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role that plays a vital part in engaging with members and potential new members to retain and grow the membership base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with members and potential new members to increase membership through referrals and incoming enquiries by demonstrating the value of membership and associated benefits
  • Respond promptly to all membership enquiries and update new and renewing members in the CRM system
  • Build lasting relationships with Association members to improve membership retention and provide exceptional customer service
  • Support programs for members with partners, including organising networking events and workshop groups to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Provide regular reporting on membership retention, engagement, and acquisition when the new Member Management System (MMS) is implemented
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to roll out the MMS and ensure a smooth transition
  • Investigate and implement new benefits for members in conjunction with National Sales, Operations, and other key stakeholders to enhance member experience

Communication Skills:

  • Maintain ongoing, professional communication with members at national and branch level to ensure clear understanding of membership benefits and services
  • Maintain professional face-to-face, phone, and electronic positive communications to build trust and rapport with members
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholder groups to achieve organisational goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision within areas of responsibility and manage tasks through to completion with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Use initiative, problem-solving skills, and research techniques when approaching tasks where barriers are encountered to find creative solutions
  • Highly developed administrative skills to provide support to internal and external stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Microsoft Office skills and the ability to use Association software, including Xero, SMS, CRM, websites, and Trainer app to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Effectively liaise technology providers and support internal stakeholders to use systems with optimal efficiency and resolve technical issues
  • Excellent personal organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects to competing deadlines and meet deliverables

  • Ability to identify, communicate, and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups to achieve organisational goals
