Business Intake Manager Role Summary

\

We are seeking a skilled Business Intake Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the firm's processes for assessing, accepting and onboarding new clients and matters (Business Intake).

Main Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Assist the Head of Business Intake in implementing policies, systems, and procedures aligned with industry best practices.\
  • Supervise the firm's Business Intake Team.\
  • Assist with the timely roll-out and ongoing implementation of the firm's Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) Program.\
  • Support client and matter due diligence and onboarding processes.\
  • Assist the Head of Business Intake and other senior management with related projects and tasks as required.\
  • Work closely with the Head of Business Intake and other senior management in the Risk and Legal Excellence team.\
  • Assist the firm's AML/CTF Compliance Officer with the performance of their duties.\
  • Implement recommendations following audits of AML/CTF compliance.\
  • Support the AML/CTF Compliance Officer in fulfilling their statutory and regulatory obligations.\
  • Supervise the day-to-day work of the firm's Business Intake Team and act as first point of escalation.\
  • Assist with the continuous upskilling, training and technical development of the Business Intake Team.\
  • Oversee workflow management of the Business Intake Team.\

Requirements:

  • \
  • Previous experience in the management and implementation of AML/CTF compliance programs.\
  • Experience of AML/CTF, KYC/CDD processes and systems.\
  • Detailed knowledge of AML/CTF requirements and risks associated with the range of services in the legal industry.\
  • A bachelor degree or higher qualification preferred.\
  • A recognised AML/Compliance qualification is desirable but not essential.\
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other productivity tools.\
  • A minimum of three years leadership or team management experience is strongly preferred.\
