Job Summary

A Senior Consultant in our Forensic Accounting & Advisory Services practice will undertake a wide range of engagements, including complex commercial disputes, litigation support and expert witness engagements, business valuations, fraud investigations and financial investigations.

Our clients include major global financial institutions, private equity houses, law firms and corporates. As a Senior Consultant, you will supervise, execute and complete client engagements, with responsibility for conducting accounting and financial analysis, and presenting your findings in a written form.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis using Microsoft Excel and other tools to solve problems, including loss and damage assessment
  • Review information received and identify further information required to complete the analysis
  • Analyse and interpret large volumes of information, including accounting, financial and banking records
  • Review financial statements for compliance with Australian Accounting Standards
  • Undertake research into companies and industries using Capital IQ and other data sources
  • Prepare expert reports, client reports and presentations that detail project scope, methodology and findings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related disciplines
  • Completed or working towards an Australian or internationally recognised professional accounting qualification
  • 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, including experience such as forensic accounting, business valuations, auditing and/or management accounting
