About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our client on a contract basis supporting a high-profile Financial Services client. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and delivering key data-related initiatives within the financial crime space, part of the role will be focusing on building solutions on big data platforms, performing data migrations and creating data strategy plans. This is a hands-on role requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data solutions on big data platforms to support large-scale data processing and analytics in the financial crime domain.
- Lead the planning, analysis, and execution of large-scale data migration projects.
- Develop and implement long-term data strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on improving data quality, accessibility, and governance.
- Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure the successful delivery of data projects.
- Identify areas for improvement within data processes and systems, proposing solutions that enhance performance, scalability, and accuracy.
- Ensure all data initiatives comply with relevant regulations and contribute to the organization's financial crime prevention strategies.
