Job OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Diploma Room Leader who can contribute to our team's mission. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with experienced educators to develop engaging educational programs and create a safe, clean environment that meets health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Care and Support for Children
Provide exceptional care and support for children aged 0-5 years old, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
Program DevelopmentCollaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging educational programs that promote learning and development.
Fostering RelationshipsFoster positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community, promoting open communication and trust.
Safety and ComplianceMaintain a safe and clean environment that complies with health and safety regulations, ensuring the well-being of all children and staff.
Leadership and SupervisionSupervise and manage a group of children, engage in play, and provide ongoing support and professional development.
Requirements- Qualifications
Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
Work ArrangementFull-time or part-time (4 days a week minimum) position available.
ExperienceMinimum 1-2 years' experience working as a Room Leader or in a similar role.
Passion and SkillsA genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Licenses and CertificationsFull working rights for Australia.
