Job Description

As a Diploma Qualified Room Lead, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support for children aged 0-5 years old. You will collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging educational programs that cater to the needs of all children. Your role will also involve fostering positive relationships with families and the wider community, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and supervising and managing a group of children.

You will work closely with our experienced educators to create a dynamic and inclusive environment that promotes learning and development. Your expertise and passion for early childhood education will make a significant impact on the lives of our children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support for children aged 0-5 years old.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging educational programs.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment that complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and manage a group of children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Estimated Salary: AU$65,000 - AU$75,000 per annum

This salary estimate is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of experience and qualifications required for this role. As a Diploma Qualified Room Lead, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills, working collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators who share your passion for early childhood education.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience working as a Room Lead or in a similar role.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
