Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma Room Leader who can commit to their room and push them to their full potential. As a key member of our team, you will work in collaboration with experienced educators to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support for children aged 0 – 5 years old, fostering positive relationships with families and the wider community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging educational programs that cater to individual strengths and talents.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment that complies with health and safety regulations, ensuring ongoing professional development and wellbeing throughout the day.
  • Supervise and manage a group of children, engage with them in play, and provide documentation to support their growth and development.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure reflects the national average for early childhood education professionals in Australia.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Full-time or part-time (4 days a week minimum) commitment.
  • Minimum 1 – 2 years' experience working as a Room Leader or in a similar role.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
