This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a wildlife veterinarian. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual who shares our passion for protecting and conserving Australia's environmental, built, and cultural heritage.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing veterinary care to Australian wildlife, including clinical and surgical duties. You will also have the opportunity to work with our Wildlife Hospital, which has grown to be one of the busiest in the world, treating over 15,000 animals every year.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing high-quality veterinary care to Australian wildlife
- Undertaking laboratory diagnostic procedures
- Preparing and administering medications
- Demonstrating safe capture and restraint techniques for native and exotic species
- Minimum qualification of BVSc or equivalent registered in Queensland
- Preferably holding veterinary experience working with wildlife
- Highly flexible and cooperative attitude
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
