
Nurse - Cancer Care Specialist

As a Haematology/Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing complex cancer treatments and haematological therapies.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care. Your strong clinical skills, empathy, and commitment to excellence will be essential in supporting patients and their families through challenging health journeys.
This opportunity is based at Nepean Hospital and offers a permanent part-time arrangement with a 32-hour week package. You will have the chance to work within a specialised and supportive environment, making a meaningful contribution to the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide person-centred, family-inclusive, and culturally sensitive nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Organise and prioritise work to meet patient needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams using written and verbal skills.
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority.
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week.
