About the Role

This is a challenging and dynamic role within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling coverage for absent teachers, including coordinating with other staff members to ensure adequate staffing levels;
  • Liaising with staff in charge of excursions to ensure staff ratio requirements are met;
  • Maintaining up-to-date records of College excursions, Staff Professional Development activities, Staff Leave and other activities where staff rescheduling may arise;
  • Updating EDVAL staff on daily schedules;
  • Timely communication of schedule changes, room assignments, and staffing via Compass, Daily Bulletin, and other means of communication;
  • Regular consultation with the Timetabler regarding exam scheduling to ensure suitable staff and venues are selected;
  • Maintaining up-to-date Contact registers for CRTs, including VIT status;
  • Liaising with CRT booking agencies;
  • Maintaining up-to-date CRT information booklets;
  • Maintaining Sign in/out registers for CRT devices and equipment; ensuring equipment levels are monitored or ordered as required;
  • Producing purchase orders and approving invoices for CRT payments to Agencies;
  • Regular communication with CRTs confirming hours worked;
  • Initiating new CRTs with an induction to the college;
  • Approving Local CRT timesheets in consultation with the Business Manager;
  • Maintaining CRT charging spreadsheets for excursion/camp/event costs;
  • Maintaining records of staff absences to provide to the HR Manager for entry into eduPay and/or assist with the approval of absence entries in eduPay;
  • Providing administrative support as required by the Principal, Assistant Principal, and Business Manager;

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders.

Your strong organizational skills, including the capacity to prioritize workflow, will enable you to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

Able to work both independently and as part of a team, you will possess high level IT skills and a proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
