This mid-sized global enterprise operates two independent businesses, with a head office in a major city and regional offices across the country and neighboring region. The company is now on the lookout for a dedicated HR Director to build and lead a comprehensive HR function.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to shape the HR function, and set the foundation for HR practices across the organization's operations. You'll bring structure to HR processes, from employee relations to compliance and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create policies and procedures aligned to the company's values and strategic direction.
  • Develop centralized HR systems for employee records, training, and compliance.
  • Guide and coach senior managers on employee relations and complex HR issues.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure strong adherence to compliance standards and regulatory requirements.

About You

We're looking for a seasoned HR professional with a knack for project management and process improvement. You'll be comfortable working independently and be able to demonstrate your experience managing change. Proven ability to integrate diverse business cultures and drive employee engagement initiatives is desirable. Experience in a similar industry or sector is also desirable.

The salary range is between $120,000 to $140,000 base + super.
