ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Seafreight Import Operator to enhance our cohesive team. The successful candidate will manage various aspects of the import operations, utilizing TradeWindow to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver timely updates to a designated client portfolio

• Input import sea files into the operational systems, dispatch sea/air cargo, and manage under bonds

• Follow up on outstanding documentation from shippers, agents, and local clients

• Coordinate transportation arrangements with service providers as necessary

• Ensure that shipment files are forwarded to Customs for timely clearance

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a freight forwarding environment

• Proven track record of direct client interaction

• Experience in a collaborative team setting

• Familiarity with all facets of the import process, from order management to invoicing

• Knowledge of TradeWindow or Cyberfreight systems
