Job Overview

We are seeking an ESG Assurance Specialist to partner with our stakeholders and contribute to the development of our control assurance framework for environmental, social, and governance related disclosures.

The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to assess the completeness and accuracy of sustainability data, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. In addition, they will work closely with the Sustainability team to develop a robust ESG control environment that keeps pace with emerging standards and requirements.

This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and influencing abilities to drive constructive change and ensure compliance.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address control gaps.
  • Develop and maintain control documentation, including operating and design effectiveness testing.
  • Provide regular feedback on the suitability of controls and suggest improvements.
  • Analyze and interpret results from control assessments to inform business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar assurance/audit role, preferably with an ESG focus. They should be experienced in producing control documentation, performing operating and design effectiveness testing, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

A successful applicant will possess strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence stakeholders and drive positive change within the organization.
