We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team in the role of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Specialist.
Job Description:The ESG Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our investment decisions align with our values and principles. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing ESG policies and practices across the portfolio, monitoring ESG performance of portfolio companies, conducting ESG due diligence on potential investments, and advising investment teams on ESG risks and opportunities.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of infrastructure equity investments and private markets, including relevant ESG considerations. They will also have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:- 5+ years of experience in ESG or sustainable investment, with a proven track record of delivering results
- Deep understanding of infrastructure equity investments and private markets, including relevant ESG considerations
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to analyze ESG data and integrate it into investment decision-making
- Excellent communication skills, engaging internal and external stakeholders on ESG matters
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, environmental science, or related field; relevant postgraduate qualification highly regarded
