Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the delivery, integration, and sustainment of high-performance ICT systems in support of mission planning capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians in the development, integration, and sustainment of software, hardware, data, tools, and processes for mission planning systems in fixed and deployed environments.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set team objectives, and foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Oversee the maintenance of physical server and networking hardware, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Manage system configurations for laptops and servers.
  • Coordinate the installation, configuration, testing, and deployment of software and security updates.
  • Provide technical leadership for resolving data support issues and ensuring mission systems meet operational requirements.
  • Support Defence strategic networks, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate program and technical risks within the operations scope.
  • Review, verify, and enhance documentation for development and sustainment.
  • Ensure project deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Team Lead or similar role.
  • Strong technical skills in software development, hardware maintenance, and data management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
