Network Systems Specialist

Job Overview

The successful candidate will contribute to JP9347 project's engineering activities from requirements development and market solicitation to acquisition through to introduction into service.

This role is within CASG, working on JP9347 Joint Data Networks as a systems engineer. The system engineer will participate in engineering engagement with industry as part of a holistic contract management approach.

  • Supporting the planning and execution of the project engineering program
  • Conducting requirements and specification development
  • Liaising with internal and external project stakeholders and providing mentoring to junior engineers

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Engineers Australia recognised equivalent, plus ideally postgraduate qualification(s) in a relevant field.
  • Analysis, design, review and delivering high-quality engineering documentation to support government approvals and delivery.
  • Initiative, creativity and responsibility to perform a range and variety of complex technical work activities with limited guidance.
