Support Student Learning and Teaching Programs

This role involves supporting teachers in delivering effective learning and teaching programs and providing targeted intervention and learning support for students. The successful candidate will assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of learning and teaching programs for students, including the use of technology and learning-support activities.


The role is ideal for individuals who possess strong skills in planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs, as well as the ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence-based interventions. Experience in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes is also highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of learning and teaching programs for students.
  • Monitor student progress and identify learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Provide targeted intervention and learning support for students.
  • Collaborate with school specialists to organise and assist with intervention groups and coordinate services.
  • Document observation notes, intervention programs, and assist in the preparation of classroom materials.

Requirements:
  • Strong skills in planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs.
  • Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence-based interventions.
  • Experience in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups.
  • Proficient in documenting observations, managing intervention programs, and preparing classroom materials.
  • Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent qualification.
