Heavy Diesel Field Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Power Generation Team in Laverton. If you have experience in heavy industrial equipment maintenance and repair, this is an excellent opportunity.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing regular maintenance, repairs, and commissioning of Power Generation products, Rail, Industrial/Automotive applications
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing complex engine issues up to 78 Litre Diesel and Gas engines
  • Maintaining a high level of safety in all tasks
  • Participating in an after-hours on-call roster

To be successful, you will need:

  • A relevant trades qualification; Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
  • Previous field service experience with diesel engines
  • The ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Excellent PC skills and teamwork abilities
  • A current, valid driver's license
  • Experience with Power Generation products is highly regarded but not essential

Your qualifications include experience in Engine Repair, Complex Fuel Systems, and Customer Service.
