Job Title: Field Service Technician">

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Laverton, Western Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who have relevant trades qualification; Heavy Diesel Mechanic experience and looking to advance their career in heavy industrial equipment. As a Field Service Technician, you will be the first responder for breakdown repairs, new equipment commissioning, and scheduled service works on Power Generation products, Rail, Industrial/Automotive applications.

  • You will perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance on engines up to 78 Litre Diesel and Gas engines.

  • Prioritize safety in all tasks.

  • Participate in an after-hours on-call roster.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant trades qualification; Heavy Diesel Mechanic.

  • Previous field service experience.

  • Ability to build rapport quickly with clients.

  • Strong PC skills.

  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.

  • A current, valid driver's license.

  • Experience with Power Generation products is highly regarded but not essential.

Qualifications include experience in Engines, Complex Fuel transfer systems, Oil Make-up systems, and other balance of plant systems such as remote cooling systems diagnostics and repairs. Experience in commissioning new equipment, including generator installation, fuel systems, exhaust, and cooling systems, is also desirable.

This is a full-time, entry-level position within the Manufacturing industry, categorized under Engineering and Information Technology, with a hybrid role.
