**Heavy Diesel Mechanic Position Overview**

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Heavy Diesel Mechanic in our workshop team at Laverton.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To provide high-quality service to customers by delivering timely and efficient repairs and maintenance for heavy diesel and engine products.
  • To diagnose and repair various engines, including rebuilding and reconditioning as required.
  • To work with other major OEMs such as Hitachi, Komatsu, and Liebherr.
  • To maintain accurate documentation of work completed.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • A qualification in mechanical trades - Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic or Plant Mechanic with heavy experience.
  • Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products.
  • Ideal experience in engine rebuild and reconditioning or knowledge of related systems.
  • Desirable experience working with Hitachi, Komatsu, and Liebherr equipment.
  • Solid diagnostic capabilities with computer systems.
