Payroll & Human Resources Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll & Human Resources Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, leave management, recruitment assistance, and other HR-related tasks.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, excellent attention to detail, and advanced skills in MS Office suite. Experience working in an external/internal customer-facing role is also desirable.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that offers a range of responsibilities including:

  • End-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple payroll companies and sites
  • Managing leave requests, terminations, and new employee functionalities
  • Monitoring and reconciling payroll-related calculations, including superannuation, tax, and salaries
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of changes and amendments to payroll-related legislation and policies
  • Completing month-end reporting and additional administrative duties as required
Key Responsibilities

In addition to the above, you will be responsible for:

  • End-to-end recruitment assistance, including advertising, interview scheduling, and correspondence
  • Assisting with drafting and sending contracts
  • Administering smooth onboarding of new staff, including maintaining personnel records and ensuring organization charts and job descriptions are up-to-date
  • Organizing pre-employment testing and actioning with HR Advisor appropriate to outcomes
  • Maintaining the HR filing database and HRIS system
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role encompassing HR admin and payroll
  • EXCELLENT attention to detail
  • Process-driven, highly organized
  • Experience working in an external/internal customer-facing role
  • Advanced skills in MS Office suite
  • Desirable: experience in Syspro, HumanForce, Workday, and Micropay
