Payroll and HR Administrator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Payroll and Human Resources Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining employee records, and supporting the HR team with administrative tasks.

This role offers a chance to work collaboratively in a small team environment, utilizing strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a range of payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Process end-to-end payroll accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including contract preparation
  • Handle payroll queries and provide support to employees regarding entitlements
  • Collaborate with HR to update policies and procedures as needed
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management
  • Ensure compliance with superannuation, taxation, and award requirements
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in a range of payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and awards
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
