Job Description:
  • This role is for a 21-hour part-time position, working across multiple libraries and locations.
  • The successful applicant will be based in Liverpool but have the flexibility to work at various sites.

This position involves leading best practice in library operations and interacting with customers on a daily basis. To excel in this role, you must possess a solid understanding of library procedures and the ability to manage and collaborate within a team environment.

To succeed, you should have:

  • A diploma in Library and Information Science or equivalent qualification
  • A Class C Driver's Licence
  • Proven experience in customer service environments, including handling cash transactions
  • Leadership abilities and the capacity to work effectively within a multi-branch team
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for innovation and adaptability in a library setting
  • Knowledge of digital technologies and corporate systems relevant to library management
