**2x Permanent Full Time - 35 hours, 7 days per week (Monday-Sunday Bandwidth)**

The Library Assistant Programs role is essential in assisting the Outreach and Programs team at Liverpool City Library. The primary responsibility is to contribute to the planning, development, and execution of outreach activities that cater to the needs of adults, children, and youth in the Liverpool community.

**ABOUT THE ROLE.**

This position is located at Liverpool City Library and requires providing regular in-person customer service throughout the library and its branches. Additionally, the Library Assistant Programs support the facilitation of programs in key focus areas and provides assistance with offsite outreach initiatives.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.

**ABOUT YOU**

To be considered for this position you will need to have:

- Strong technology skills and experience in using and providing assistance with a wide range of technology and library equipment.
- Commitment to staying up to date with changes and advances in the public library setting. Demonstrated experience in the provision of library and information services within a public library or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the facilitation of programs across all age groups.
