Maintenance and Facilities Manager

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual to manage maintenance operations across new homes constructed in Sydney. Working closely with our experienced Construction Manager and team members, the successful candidate will oversee all maintenance tasks to ensure efficient and effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of homes to identify defects or issues that require attention.
  • Coordinate tradespeople to complete work on time and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant building codes, including familiarity with the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
  • Plan and organize maintenance work, ensuring timely completion of tasks and allocating resources effectively.
  • Perform minor repairs and participate in hands-on roles as required.
Qualifications:
  • A solid trade background or similar experience is essential.
  • Proficiency with project home software is beneficial, but computer skills are mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC), local building codes, tolerances, and standards is crucial.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Sydney for site visits and client meetings.
  • Excellent communication skills for regular interaction with clients.
