The Opportunity:

You will be the key point of contact for planning, coordinating, and executing waste disposal activities for a high-profile national entertainment facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage both reactive and scheduled waste services in line with contracts and environmental guidelines.
  • Coordinate readiness for waste services prior to site openings or events.
  • Collaborate with management to align waste services with project timelines.
  • Conduct post-event audits and inspections to resolve waste-related issues.
  • Track and analyse waste data to improve processes and ensure KPI compliance.
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in waste processes and service quality.
  • Contribute to transformation and improvement initiatives within waste management operations.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary or higher qualification in Business, Administration, or a related technical stream.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in waste management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Experience in working with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in facility and contractor management will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in minor project planning, administration and coordination.
  • Full Australian working rights and clear recent police check.
