As the Waste Management Leader, you'll drive sustainability, compliance, and innovation by leading the strategic planning and integration of waste operations across the region.

The Pilbara Regional Waste Management Facility (PRWMF) is a Class IV facility that stands out in the North of the Perth metropolitan area, making this a distinctive opportunity to manage a regionally significant operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering innovative waste management strategies aligned with the region's needs
  • Leading complex waste operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible practices
  • Fostering business development opportunities, particularly with mining and decommissioning industries
  • Project delivery in line with the region's Strategic Waste Management Plan

Your Ideal Background:

  • Formal qualifications in waste management, environmental science, engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Extensive leadership experience in complex waste operations
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and Class IV waste facilities
  • Commercial acumen and financial management skills
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership abilities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for sustainability
