Job Title:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to delivering exceptional Accounting services to clients. As a key member of our team, you will have the chance to collaborate with industry-leading experts and work on a diverse portfolio.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in tax return preparation, financial statement creation and reconciliations
  • Handling compliance and administrative tasks, including record maintenance and data entry
  • Preparing and reviewing reports, including time-sheets, client service agreements, and invoicing
  • Contributing to strategy implementation for clients, and preparing meeting minutes and resolutions

To be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel), familiar with Class Super (advantageous but not essential), able to prioritise and coordinate tasks efficiently, and a genuine team player with a friendly and helpful demeanour.

The SMSF team consists of Direct Client Services Support, Accounting Officers, Senior Accountants, Managers, and Senior Client Manager. We foster teamwork and mutual support, contribute to making a difference in an emerging service line, and build relationships across Findex service lines, with access to great training and mentoring opportunities.
