The Venue Management Association is a network of professionals across stadiums, arenas, convention centers, performing arts centers, showgrounds, and racecourses.

As a key connector, you will nurture prospects, support existing members, and build long-term relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, and delegates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow Membership: Identify prospects and nurture relationships across the venue, entertainment, and events industries.
  • Drive Retention: Deliver high-quality member experiences from onboarding through to renewal.
  • Oversee Commercial Partnerships: Secure sponsorships and ensure sponsor satisfaction through effective account management.
  • Lead Exhibitor Recruitment: Manage registration, accommodation, and event services for our flagship VMA Congress.
  • Support Delegate Experience: Coordinate registration, accommodation, and event services.
  • Curate Member Networking Events: Develop and deliver member networking events, including our After 5 program.
  • Manage Budgets: Report on growth, retention, and commercial outcomes for membership initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales, business development, or membership targets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence in influencing stakeholders, from members to sponsors and senior executives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A member- and customer-centric mindset, with the ability to build trust.
  • A genuine interest in venues, events, or the entertainment industry.
