At our Melbourne-based automotive repair business, we seek a skilled and driven Workshop Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage workflow, scheduling, and repair processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of panel beaters, painters, and estimators.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with insurers, assessors, and customers.
- Monitor productivity and cost control to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in workshop management or leadership (automotive repair industry preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of insurance repair processes and estimating software is desirable.
