Job Title: Industrial Procurement Specialist

This role is ideal for a motivated and adaptable professional with a strong background in industrial manufacturing, preferably within the material handling sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and procure technical materials and equipment for manufacturing and engineering use by interpreting drawings and specifications to ensure correct procurement of components
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues that may arise during the procurement process
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and warehouse teams to align procurement with operational needs and identify areas for process improvement
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of experience in a technical procurement role within an industrial or manufacturing environment (material handling experience highly regarded)
  • A strong working knowledge of ERP systems, including SAP, Pronto, Oracle, and similar platforms
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation to inform procurement decisions
  • A technical qualification in manufacturing, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
