Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Procurement Specialist to support our manufacturing and engineering operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial procurement, preferably within the material handling sector.

The Role
  • Purchase technical materials and equipment for production and engineering use.
  • Source parts while maintaining alignment with specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Source and procure technical materials and equipment for manufacturing use.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure correct procurement of components.
  • Manage inventory levels and replenish stock through ERP systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and warehouse teams to align procurement with operational needs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in procurement and inventory control.
About You
  • Proven experience in a technical procurement role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Pronto, Oracle).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
  • A technical qualification in manufacturing, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to adapt quickly.
