The RoleWe're seeking a Business Development Manager - Ocean to join our team. As a key player in our global logistics network, you'll have the opportunity to apply your sales expertise and experience within a robust team environment. You'll be trusted to drive sales opportunities for Ocean Freight, develop strategies to support existing customer relationships, and identify sales pipelines and support campaigns.
Key Responsibilities- Drive and manage sales opportunities for Ocean Freight
- Develop strategies and activities to support existing customer relationships
- Identify sales pipelines and support campaigns (vertical markets, trade lanes, transport, import/export)
- Manage initiatives on new sales contacts with the marketing & sales teams
- Contribute to overall plans, strategies, budgets, and performance reviews
We're looking for someone with at least two years of sales/business development experience in freight forwarding or logistics. You'll need excellent communication skills, the proven ability to negotiate and problem solve, and be capable of building long-term relationships with customers.
