Communications Assistant Role Summary

This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to internal and external communications in a key support role. You will work closely with the media and stakeholder engagement coordinator to deliver timely and effective communication messages.

You will be responsible for creating engaging content for various platforms, collaborating with stakeholders to develop communication strategies, and publishing digital content for promotional channels. Additionally, you will monitor and manage engagement across digital platforms, including scheduling posts and responding to content.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of communication principles, demonstrated skills in writing and content development, strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, proven time management, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, ability to work independently and meet deadlines, and flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of key internal and external communication campaigns and projects.
  • Create engaging written content for media, social media, publications, and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver timely and effective communication messages.
  • Develop and publish digital content (images, videos, audio) for promotional channels.
  • Monitor and manage engagement across digital platforms, including scheduling posts and responding to content.
  • Assist with media liaison, event coordination, and capturing multimedia content.
  • Analyse and report on communication and engagement activity, including media and social media performance.
