Job Title: Senior Project Coordinator

About the Role:

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality project management consulting services within Queensland's building and construction industry.

The successful candidate will provide strong leadership across all phases of project delivery, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and project success.

A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Town Planning, or Quantity Surveying) would be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of building project implementation, including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-construction activities, ensuring the quality and suitability of the final building product.
  • Coordinate activities among project staff, external consultants, building contractors, managers, and other business units to achieve project objectives.
  • Provide a high level of contract coordination across traditional and non-traditional contract systems.
  • Ensure all projects meet client scope, timeline, cost, cash flow, and quality expectations.
  • Effectively engage, communicate with, and coordinate all project team members—both internal staff and external providers—during all stages of service delivery.
  • Lead negotiations with consultants, local authorities, stakeholders, clients, and contractors to deliver value-for-money outcomes and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Monitor and control variances by generating exception reports on time and cost, and conduct project audits to assess team performance.
  • Support senior leadership by assisting in fee determination for services and generating approvals for client billing as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality assurance procedures in the work area and provide mentorship to Project Managers and other team members.
