Role Description

CQUniversity seeks a skilled Communications and Engagement Assistant to support internal and external communications. This role involves working closely with senior staff to deliver impactful communications that align with the organization's mission and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deliver communication campaigns and projects.
  • Develop engaging content for various platforms, including media, social media, publications, and digital channels.
  • Monitor and manage engagement across digital platforms, scheduling posts and responding to content.
  • Assist with media liaison, event coordination, and capturing multimedia content.
  • Analyse and report on communication and engagement activity, including media and social media performance.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of communication strategies and demonstrated skills in writing and content development.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven time management, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and digital media platforms.
  • Qualifications in communications, media, marketing, or related fields (desirable).
