About the Maintenance Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to support our fixed plant operations in Newcastle on a 12-month contract. This is a local opportunity ideal for a candidate based in the Newcastle region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities using SAP
  • Coordinate labour, parts, and access for upcoming tasks
  • Maintain job packs, task lists, and work order documentation
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering for schedule alignment
  • Monitor backlog, break-in work, and shutdown readiness
  • Support continuous improvement in planning accuracy and plant availability
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner (fixed plant focus)
  • Strong SAP PM skills - work orders, task lists, schedule building
  • Organised and able to prioritise across weekly and shutdown planning
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
