The Project Engineer role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of chemical dosing and water treatment projects across Western Australia and nationally.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the sales team, customers, and engineering team to design and develop equipment solutions for water treatment, chemical dosing, and associated control systems.
- Managing project timelines and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Negotiating with suppliers and contractors to secure quotes and delivery timeframes.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients regarding equipment solutions.
- Working closely with the engineering and sales teams on tenders and quotations.
- Overseeing the installation and commissioning of water treatment and chemical dosing equipment at client sites.
- Providing support to the sales team for spare parts and equipment maintenance of existing installations.
Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline or a recognized trade qualification.
- Experience working in the water industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Familiarity with automated control systems and plant commissioning will be considered favorably.
- An unwavering commitment to workplace safety.
- Exceptional planning, administrative, and organizational skills.
- A customer-focused attitude.
- A valid driver's license.
