We are seeking highly motivated engineering professionals to join our high-performing Water Division and assist on water infrastructure projects based in Wollongong, Australia.

About the role:

Our Water Group is expanding, and we have a great opportunity for talented Senior Civil Engineers experienced in delivering water infrastructure solutions. We are looking for multiple Senior-level Civil Engineers to join our NSW-based water team, working from Wollongong.

In this position, you will play an integral part amongst a diverse group of skilled professionals to deliver program and project excellence for our water clients in various contexts.

As a Water Infrastructure Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, programming, and coordinating specific projects with the Project Manager to deliver agreed outputs on budget, on time, and to quality standards.
  • Managing and assisting in civil engineering, design management, and project management from planning, feasibility/concept design, detailed design, and construction support of water and wastewater infrastructure as lead or member of a larger team.
  • Performing broad, varied, and diverse water and wastewater infrastructure engineering design tasks, including engineering drawings, engineering reports, presentations, and required applications to regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering – Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartership/RPEQ or working towards is highly regarded.
  • Relevant professional experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Strong technical experience in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks.
