Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide technical support to regional conventional water treatment plants operations across the state. This role will involve collaborating with operations teams, driving operational excellence through strong safety practices and innovative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead remote and site-based support for operations of water treatment facilities including technical, scientific, or engineering investigations as well as design, and commissioning activities.
  • Contribute to the provision of specialist advice on design standards and operational requirements for new treatment plants.
  • Develop and implement treatment operations, processes, and technology to enhance operational outcomes.
  • Review plant performance against performance criteria.
  • Manage team assets (laboratory equipment, instruments, corporate vehicles), including QAP testing and vehicle safety checks.
  • Contribute to relevant strategies, communicating recommendations through technical reports.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
  • Significant experience in conventional water treatment process design, operations, or troubleshooting.
  • C Class driver's license.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Operations and maintenance and technical knowledge.
  • Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills.
