About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our Tenders team at Canon Medical Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to our State and Regional Managers and Account Managers in the preparation of Tenders and Quotations, as well as the administration of contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to our sales, account, and service managers in the preparation of Tenders and Quotations, ensuring that all submissions meet the required standards.
  • Contract Administration: Assist in the administration of contracts, including the preparation of Request for Tenders, Request for Proposal, and other similar requests from customers.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with all bid stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure that the preparation and submission of responses meet the set deadlines.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain a copy of all bid submissions and contract documentation, ensuring that all relevant information is up to date and easily accessible.
  • Project Coordination: Assist with project management at head office and local offices as required, to facilitate the requirements of the Tenders Team's responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification: A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Technical Research: An aptitude to research and prepare technical responses is essential.
  • Contract Administration: Prior experience in contract administration and a sound knowledge of contracts and tenders processes is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Administration and Project Management: Strong administration and project management skills are required.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office and SharePoint are necessary.
  • Relationship Building: Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously are required.
