Traffic Engineering Project Manager Job Overview
The Traffic Engineering Project Manager is responsible for delivering high-profile projects that ensure business objectives are met. This key role will work closely with the Traffic Operations Manager to provide project management, reporting, and execution of traffic engineering department initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to guarantee successful project delivery.
- Negotiate with public and private stakeholders to secure optimal outcomes.
- Represent clients/projects at public forums and meetings.
- Collaborate with clients and oversee subcontractors to facilitate project implementation.
- Lead senior-level traffic engineering and project management expertise to drive results.
Requirements:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering from an accredited institution.
- Possess a Professional Engineering license (in NC, VA, SC).
- Demonstrate 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering.
- Show evidence of working with state and local public agencies.
