Amazon Logistics seeks a proactive leader to drive innovation and effective execution within transportation networks. As an Operations Lead, you will collaborate with the Operations Shift Manager and Delivery Station Manager to achieve performance goals and productivity standards.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring team attendance and workflow, identifying and resolving issues, and fostering a strong health and safety culture. Amazon Operations and Distribution is a 24/7 environment with flexible shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a strong health and safety culture by ensuring adherence to relevant laws and internal policies.
  • Assist in daily oversight and management of departmental tasks.
  • Conduct staff debriefs and complete paperwork accurately.
  • Perform duties in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Allocate tasks to staff as needed to maintain workflow and meet daily performance targets.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels, manage call outs, address absences, oversee performance, and provide coaching.
  • Support new associates' onboarding and training to ensure they possess necessary knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Shift Manager and Delivery Station Manager in tracking, analyzing, and reporting Exchange Point metrics.
  • Monitor and report on associate hours and schedules.
  • Address and resolve process-related issues within the area as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of equipment defects.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, Amazon provides benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in warehouse operations
  • Experience in logistics
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20kg, stand/walk during 10-hour shifts, and perform frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing teams
  • Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Outlook
