**Job Description**: We are seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic team as Assistant Village Manager at a peaceful coastal retirement village. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, implementing operational plans and projects, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and maintaining residents' satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Supporting the Senior Village Manager in managing the village's daily activities
  • Implementing operational plans and projects to improve village services
  • Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the village
  • Maintaining residents' satisfaction by implementing company policies and strategies
  • Assisting with the running of village events, social calendar, and activities
  • Contributing to effective resident management to foster strong customer relationships
  • Providing assistance with budget preparation and financial processing

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer literacy - including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to balance different priorities and manage day-to-day expectations
  • Willingness to learn and professionally develop, along with a proactive and can-do attitude
  • Strong people management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with budgeting (desirable)
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate - or be willing to obtain
