Accounts Payable Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee a team responsible for accounts payable operations, ensuring timely payment of suppliers and adherence to established deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile top supplier statements and ad-hoc requests accurately
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team on reconciliations requiring attention or investigation
- Provide hands-on support and training to team members
- Review OCR lists and ensure validation issues are resolved promptly
- Ensure accurate payment of supplier accounts in accordance with company procedures
- Oversight of payment runs and reconciliation of purchase returns
Requirements
- Clear communication style with ability to articulate complex information simply
- 5+ years' experience in full-function accounts payable position in a high-volume AP function
- Leadership and mentoring experience
- Intermediate Excel skills, including Vlookup and pivot tables
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements
- Proactive approach to work with focus on delivering results
