Key Accountabilities

The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the administration of accounts payable operations for a portfolio of properties. This involves leading and coordinating teams, managing payment processing, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Payment Processing: Manage payment cycles, including invoicing and reconciliations.
  • Invoice Management: Coordinate receipt, processing, and approval of invoices from vendors.
  • Vendor Management: Foster strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate optimal pricing and service agreements.
  • Process Coordination: Oversee the efficient operation of accounts payable processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Reconciliation: Verify accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience working with accounting software and systems.
  • Customer service experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders.
  • Full working rights in Australia are required.
