Accounts Payable Specialist Role

The Accounts Payable Specialist is a critical role within our finance team responsible for processing and managing supplier invoices, payment schedules, and expense reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process high-volume supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments and minimizing errors.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and verify goods receipted and authorized orders.
  • Reconcile supplier statements, promptly resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate accounts payable records.
  • Organize weekly supplier payments and coordinate communication with stakeholders regarding payment status, queries, and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed accounts payable reports as required, providing insights into financial performance and cash flow.
  • Manage the Company's Corporate Cards and expense management system, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the Accounts Payable mailbox daily, addressing inquiries and responding to customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures, including AP reconciliations and reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable, maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the process.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
