About the Role

ClearCompany is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, Cyber Security Operations, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's internet connected systems from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Leadership: You will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise with a specific focus on cyber security operations, contributing to the strategic direction of the Security Operations Centre (SOC).
  • Strategic Threat Intelligence: You will contribute to the development of strategies to detect and mitigate current and emerging cyber security threats, drawing from emerging threat intelligence.
  • Threat Hunt and Incident Response: You will oversee and lead Threat Hunt and Incident Response activities, including coordination across teams and departments, and ensure effective application of monitoring and response capabilities.
  • Cyber Security Monitoring: You will work with the Engineering team to design and deliver technical solutions to ensure effective application of monitoring and response capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You will foster and develop relationships with internal stakeholders, and domestic and international partners to enhance our organization's information technology security posture and capabilities.
Requirements
  • Cyber Security Experience: You will have experience working in a cyber security operations centre, with a strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and technologies.
  • Security Tooling: You will have experience with security tooling such as Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM) tools (preferably Splunk and/or Sentinel).
  • Cyber Security Qualifications: You will have relevant qualifications within cyber security (e.g. SANS GIAC certifications, CISSIP, CISM).
  • Collaboration and Leadership: You will have excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to lead delivery outcomes, with strong security awareness and risk management skills.
