About the Role

ClearCompany is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team. As a Cyber Security Architect, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure architecture for new and emerging systems to ensure continual security uplift.
  • Govern system design to ensure conformance with industry and government security frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments against vulnerabilities and threats to determine the security controls to proactively remediate and reduce security risks and concerns.
  • Conduct security requirements and control analysis of new capabilities to identify gaps and enhancements that can be included to deliver security by design.
  • Closely collaborate with technical specialists across the organization and domestic and international partners to ensure the secure design and implementation of our technology ecosystem.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and different ways of working to ensure security requirements are at the forefront.
  • Represent IT Security on relevant governance boards/groups and ensure security outcomes are appropriately prioritized and delivered against.

Requirements

  • Proven track record and professional history in cyber security engineering to deliver secure, trustworthy, sustainable, and cyber resilient ICT enabled capabilities.
  • Knowledge of information security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), security architecture concepts, cloud security, and DevSecOps.
  • Solid understanding of AWS security architecture concepts and knowledge and experience with cloud services such as containers, CI/CD pipelines, secure code management.
  • Experienced in the design, implementation, and/or maintenance of enterprise systems.
  • Strong security awareness and risk management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and technologies.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing - including effectiveness in negotiation, consultation, and representation both internally and externally.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to lead the delivery of secure outcomes in complex scenarios.
  • Relevant qualifications within cyber security and/or technical specializations (e.g., CISSP, CRISC, SABSA, etc.) are highly desirable.
