Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver to transport residents, staff, and essential supplies to and from various locations.

The successful candidate will provide a crucial link in daily operations, ensuring the smooth flow of activities and services.

  • Transport shelter residents to scheduled appointments and medical visits
  • Maintain accurate records of all trips
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance with the Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver meals to overflow sites
  • Transport staff, volunteers, and board members during community events
  • Provide respectful and supportive demeanor when dealing with shelter clients
  • Communicate effectively with interested parties

Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate should have experience working with homeless, chemically dependent, or mentally disabled individuals.

The successful candidate must possess effective communication and crisis intervention skills.
